Baseball is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams who take turns batting and fielding. A player from the fielding team throws the ball at the batting team and then they must have a go of retrieving the ball as quickly as possible once it has been hit. The player who hits the ball must run around the field past three bases whilst the fielding team retrieves the ball. Players score a 'run' once they make it back to the home base. The objective is to score more runs than the opposition.
