Ballroom dance is a set of partner dances which are enjoyed socially and competitively all over the world. Competitions, commonly referred to as Dancesport are divided into professional and amateur divisions. In competitive ballroom, dancers are judged on poise, frame, posture, musicality, expression, body alignment, shape, floor craft, foot and leg action, and presentation. Competitors dance at different levels based on their ability and experience.
