Dan Breens is the most recent Mens Hurling club in Melbourne. Established in 2013 it has made an instant impact in Victorian hurling circles, reaching the championship final in its inaugural year. More heartbreak followed with a league final defeat in 2014 before a historic 2015 league final victory.
