Warwick District Drag Racing Association Inc is a renowned sports club located in the Southern Downs Regional area of Queensland, Australia. Since its establishment in 1996, Warwick Dragway has become a beloved dragstrip within the Australian Drag Racing community.
Situated in Morgan Park, Warwick Dragway offers both a 1/4 mile and 1/8 mile strip, providing a thrilling experience for racers and spectators alike. The club has gained recognition as South East Queensland's top Dragway and continues to attract racing enthusiasts from all over the region.
Over the years, Warwick Dragway has hosted various popular events such as Dragdfest, 6 Banger Nats, VW Meet, and Bracket Meet. These events showcase the talent and passion of drag racers, creating an exhilarating atmosphere for participants and spectators.
In 2020, the club received a generous $1. 9 million grant from the Australian Government to upgrade its facilities and transform Warwick Dragway into a national level venue. This upgrade includes major improvements to the track, spectator facilities, staging area, and the introduction of new timing boards and systems.
While Warwick Dragway will remain true to its 1/8 mile roots, it aims to expand into 1/4 mile racing events in 2023, offering even more exciting racing opportunities for participants.
