Yogahub Perth, a prominent yoga club located in Mount Hawthorn, is excited to announce the upcoming 150hr Mentoring Program for Yoga Teachers. This remarkable program is fully registered with Yoga Australia and offers yoga teachers an exceptional opportunity to receive personalised training and one-to-one mentoring from our highly experienced teaching faculty.
Designed specifically for yoga teachers looking to further enhance their skills and deepen their knowledge, this program builds upon the foundational training acquired in previous yoga teacher training. Over a period of 6 to 12 months, participants have the flexibility to complete the program at their own pace, as we accept applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.
To ensure an immersive and meaningful learning journey, we intentionally limit the mentoring program to only 6 participants. This allows for a close-knit and supportive environment where trainees can truly thrive. Graduates of the program will develop an intellectually integrated and embodied understanding of yoga that can be applied both in their teaching and personal practice.
One of the highlights of this program is the unique opportunity to work with real students and receive direct instruction and guidance from our exceptional senior teachers. Trainees will have the chance to refine their skills in skilful sequencing for popular yoga classes and creating personalised class plans.
In addition to the practical aspects of teaching, our program delves into the spiritual texts of yoga, exploring Sanskrit chanting, Patanjali's Sutras, and Vedanta studies. Therapeutic specialities such as trauma in the context of yoga and the application of pain science to yoga will also be covered, offering a comprehensive and well-rounded education.
To ensure personal growth and progress, trainees will be required to advance in their own practice under the guidance of an advanced practitioner. Rest assured, our program is fully recognised and registered with Yoga Australia, making it suitable for any yoga teacher with a minimum 200hr qualification.
We also extend a warm welcome to teachers trained outside our organisation. However, we kindly request an in-person meeting with Sarcha Thurston, our esteemed program instructor, to assess suitability for working together.
