The One Raceway, home to the Classic Motorcycle Racing Club, is gearing up to host the exciting 2024 Australian Historic Road Race Championship in Goulburn this November 15-17. This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of solo riders and sidecars battling it out across various historic racing eras.
From the early machines in Period 1 all the way to the more modern bikes of Period 7, competitors will be vying for victory in different engine capacities. The recent upgrades at One Raceway, formerly known as Wakefield Park, have made it an even more impressive venue for this championship. With new turns, improved rider safety measures, and those brand new 10-metre-high noise walls, fans are in for quite the spectacle.
One Raceway's circuit design even allows for racing in both directions, adding an extra touch of excitement for both participants and spectators alike. Keep an eye out for when entries open later this year, as this is one event historical racing enthusiasts won't want to miss. See you at the track!
