Join Melbourne University Hockey Club in the 2024 Division 1 Nationals taking place in Canberra, ACT from 9 - 13 September. This event is a great opportunity for university athletes to showcase their skills and compete on a national level at the Australian University Sport Nationals. Melbourne University has a strong history of success in InterVarsity hockey, so you'll be representing a club with a winning legacy.
Throughout the week, you can expect to be part of thrilling matches and enjoy social activities with fellow participants. Outstanding performances will be rewarded with Sports Blue awards and best & fairest trophies. To be eligible to compete, make sure you're enrolled in at least one subject at the University in Semester 2. The total cost is usually around $800, which covers registration, accommodation, transport pass, and your uniform. Keep in mind that travel to and from the host city is not included in that fee.
