ACT Walking for Pleasure Inc. is a volunteer-run sports club based in Canberra, Australia. The club organises guided walks for its members, offering a variety of morning walk programmes throughout the week. Tuesday walks are approximately 1½ hours long, Wednesday walks are about 2 hours long, Thursday walks (known as Strolls) are about 1 hour long, Friday walks are about 2 hours long, Saturday walks range from 2 to 4 hours, and Sunday walks are approximately 2 hours long.
Occasionally, longer and more demanding walks are also offered.
No bookings are required to join the walks. Members can simply show up at the designated starting time and place, as advised in the club's quarterly newsletter, The Capital Wanderer. There is no obligation to attend walks, and there is no charge for walking apart from the annual membership fee. New walkers are welcome to try out walks before joining the club.
The emphasis of ACT Walking for Pleasure is on relaxation and enjoyment, and participants are kindly requested to leave their pets at home.

Membership in ACT Walking for Pleasure Inc. can be obtained by registering through the club's website. There are different membership fee options available, with individual memberships priced at $35 for a full year or $17. 50 for the period of December to June.
Household memberships are also offered at $60 for a full year or $30 for the period of December to June. Both printed and posted newsletters, as well as download-only newsletters, are available depending on the chosen membership type.
