Welcome to Athletics Chilwell, a Geelong-based sports club that offers opportunities for athletes of all ages and levels of ability to train, compete, and enjoy the various disciplines of athletics. Whether you're a young aspiring athlete or a seasoned senior competitor, Athletics Chilwell provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

With a proud history dating back to 1966, Athletics Chilwell has been competing in every athletics season since its establishment. In 2016, we celebrated our 50th anniversary, highlighting our enduring presence and commitment to the sport. Throughout the years, we have had the privilege of nurturing and fostering the growth of several Olympians, Commonwealth Games representatives, as well as world, national, and state champions.

Our club offers two main divisions: Little Athletics for ages 6 to 15, and Senior Athletics for ages 11 to 60+. In Little Athletics, young athletes can engage in various disciplines such as running (sprints, hurdles, middle and long distance), jumping (long, triple, high, pole vault), throwing (shotput, discus, javelin, hammer), as well as cross-country running and para events. Senior Athletics caters to individuals who are interested in continuing their athletic journey, providing them with opportunities to further develop their skills and compete in interclub competitions.

At Athletics Chilwell, we understand the importance of proper training and skill development. That's why we have a dedicated team of qualified coaches who are passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential. Regular training sessions are held at Landy Field in South Geelong, providing our members with a top-notch facility for their training needs.

Whether you're a new or returning member, we invite you to join us for either the summer little athletics season or the winter cross country season. Throughout the year, our club organises interclub competitions, giving athletes the chance to showcase their abilities and bond with fellow competitors. We believe in the power of community and camaraderie, fostering friendships and connexions among our members.
