Glasshouse Mountains Rock Climbing Adventure

Glass House Rock Climbing is a full day of climbing in the magnificent Mount Ngungun Mountains National Park. Whether you are visiting Brisbane or live here year round, climbing Glass House Rock Climbing is a memory making experience.

This mountain range with its unusual array of domes, cones and spires grew from volcanic activity millions of years ago. The climbing is easy and the holds are big,so it's a great next step after experiencing Kangaroo Point.

You will meet your qualified guide at the Mount Ngungun National Park entrance at 0800am and finish around 2:30pm.

Your day will begin with a safety briefing, where the guide will go through safety procedures and allocate climbing gear and ropes between the group. You will then begin the walk into the national park. The walk time will depend on the group. However, is usually about 30-40 minutes.

Once you have reached the climbing area, the guide will need to set up the climbs. During this time, you can take a breather, take photos and are welcome to eat snacks. Once set up, you can climb under the guide’s supervision. Depending on when the climbs are moved, you can eat lunch when this is occurring or if staying in the same place have a break.

Climbs are of various grade of difficulty. The guide will start you off on easier climbs and then move the climbs if the group is getting through these to something harder or something different.

Around 1:45–2:00pm your gear will be packed up and the guide will walk you back out to the car park.
