The ANU Football Club was founded in 1962 with the goal of providing footballing opportunities to current and former students and staff of the Australian National University, located in Acton, Australian Capital Territory. The club welcomes players of all skill levels and currently fields teams across the ACT National leading League 2, State League, and Master’s competitions.
Home games for the ANU Football Club are played at two venues on the ANU campus, South Oval and Willows Oval. South Oval, situated on Ward Road, is a multipurpose grass venue that is shared with the ANU Cricket Club and the ANU AFL Club. Willows Oval, located adjacent to Barry Drive, is a multipurpose synthetic venue that is shared with the ANU Hockey Club.
