About
The New South Wales Baseball League Inc. (BNSW) was formed in 1899 and with the advent of the main stream high level of baseball changing from winter to summer, BNSW became later incorporated under the Associations Act 1984 (NSW). In 2003 following major re-structuring changes in BNSW, a constitutional reform and the appointment of an administrator by the Australian Baseball Federation took place. This followed the resignation of the then Commissioner and the Executive Council.
The purpose of this reform led to the notion to create a “one baseball” organisation with the principles of a united senior and junior organisational structure and the establishment of an independent (principally non baseball) state board.
