Founded in 1998.
The Original four clubs were named Bayside Strikers Soccer Club, Fraser Flames Football Club, Kawungan Whales Soccer Club and Sandy Straits Soccer Club.
There was a significant growth in membership over the first few years, eventually leading to the formation of a new club. This club was named United Soccer Club. In 2006, yet another new club was formed; Hervey Bay Rangers Football Club.
2008 saw the re-establishment of an inter-city competition with Maryborough at all competitive age-groups (under 11 upwards).
