Bec Mathias / Become Yoga

Bec is a current Level 2 registered teacher with Yoga Australia.

Bec took her first yoga class back in 1996 and was instantly hooked. At first the practise was enjoyed purely for the physical benefits in alleviating hip and back soreness from a background in state and national competitive rhythmic gymnastics. Soon though, the more subtle mental and emotional benefits took hold.

Her personal practise led to completing a yoga teacher training course with FinY in Perth in 2005. Bec has been consistently teaching since 2005 in both public settings and the Corporate environment.

Forever a student of yoga, Bec thoroughly enjoys completing regular training workshops with both local and international teachers. Bec completed Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Victor Chng in 2010 and loves how Yin complements the dynamic practises.
