The Eildon Club has around 60 members, and four lawns. Visitors and new members are always welcome; a coaching clinic for new players is available. In addition to regular social play, the Club hosts other competitions eg Golf Croquet and Gateball Gala Days and metropolitan pennants. the Club also hosted two state wide CAQ events this year, the Golf and Association Division 3 Medal Events, and have also hosted Gateball Tournaments. Apart from designated scheduled play, members can use the lawns for private matches and practice at any time. Green fees are $2 for full members and $7 for visitors from other Clubs. Our Clubhouse has seating for 50 people, and kitchen facilities for morning teas and lunches which members enjoy after play. The Club is located across the road from the beach at Woody Point. There is a well maintained children’s playground on the foreshore. Sea-breezes make for pleasant playing conditions in both summer and winter. A Redcliffe bus connects with the Sandgate Railway Station every 60 minutes. Our Club is 30 minutes from Brisbane by car via the Gateway Arterial, Deagon Deviation, and Hornibrook Esplanade.
