Epping Senior Rugby play in the New South Wales Suburban Rugby Union Third Division competition. This competition is open to males who want to play in the senior grades or in our Under 21 colts side. Epping Rugby plays at the picturesque Sommerville Oval (Blaxland Road, Epping) which is perfectly situated less than five minutes from both Eastwood and Epping station.
The club plays on Saturday afternoons from 11am to 5pm (Depending on Grade), playing all throughout Sydney. We train at Sommerville Oval on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6. 15pm. We are privledged to have experienced Level 2 coaches to control the sessions.
The Rams uniform consists of a blue and gold hooped jersey, blue and gold hooped socks, and blue shorts. Socks and shorts are available as part of registration, while jerseys are provided on game day for use.
In 2013, Epping Rugby won the Sydney Radford Cup Colts competition. Building on this success, in 2014 we finished 2nd in the club championship, competing in the Finals Series for 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade and Colts. In 2015, the Rams are looking to build on a successful previous two seasons.
