About
Murgon Judo Club Inc. Is once again is having their annual MURGON JUDO CLUB INC GRASS ROOTS TEAM TOURNAMENT. It will still have its original Ne Waza but this year we are in a bigger venue and will be able to have real Shiai. This tournament was originally created for the AASC and continues in the same format even though AASC has finished however this year we are able to have a bigger mat area and actually have Shiai. We recognize the importance of having a fun inclusive grass roots tournament in the country.
We invite QKJA clubs and young judokas and matured judokas, parents and friends to attend MURGON JUDO CLUB INC GRASS ROOTS TEAM TOURNAMENT at the South Burnett PCYC 40 Macalister Street, Murgon.
No weigh in will happen however children and adults will be matched against similar size, weight and age (2min Maximum match time for the very young, 3min for rest adults 4min ) every player will have a minimum of 3 matches Safety is most important and we will have a number of qualified first aid people at our tournament.
Winning team members will receive a gold medallion, 2nd place team members will receive a silver medallion and 3rd place team members will receive a bronze medallion. Don’t worry if you are coming from out of the area you will be put in a team. Make it a weekend and enjoy Murgon and the surrounding area Wineries, Dairy Museum and Boat Mountain just to name a few things.
