Harden Hawks first joined the George Tooke Shield in 2009. After spending one Season combined With Neighbours Binalong, as the South West Brahmans. Our first season met with instant success defeating Bungendore 16 points to 11 in an action filled Grand final. We have gone on and played in another 3 Grand finals , all of which unfortunatley have seen us defeated.
Prior to joining the Tooke Shield , we had a long and proud history in the Group nine Competition. Despite being a lot smaller than a lot of our competitors we constantly competed and more than held our own , supplying 2 senior and junior grades most seasons. We were tops on both the 1961 and 1981 seasons. Harden has survived whilst competing on both the group 9 and Tooke shield competitons on a base of talented local juniors , something of which we are extremely proud of.
We have no introduced an open womens Leaguetag side , of which in their first season were runners up to Binalong.
