Integrated Martial Arts Academy

Integrated Martial Arts Academy is a prominent sports club based in Hervey Bay, Queensland. The academy was established on October 29, 2002, in Burrum Heads with the aim of empowering individuals through the virtues and qualities developed within the Martial Arts. Each participant is encouraged and supported on a progressive journey of inner strength, courage, and heartfelt determination.

In 2006, the Integrated Martial Arts Academy expanded its services with the creation of the Integrated Development Academy. This extension aims to provide a wider array of opportunities for personal growth and self-development. In addition to group Martial Arts classes, the academy offers various other classes, 1-on-1 Personal Training sessions, and Self-Development Programmes. Their holistic approach focuses on promoting health, wellbeing, and harmony in all aspects of life, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

This is achieved through strength and fitness training, nutritional guidance, inspiration and motivation, spiritual awareness, chi energy connexion and healing, yoga, and meditation.

In April 2016, the Integrated Martial Arts Wellbeing Centre was launched as the newest addition to the academy's offerings. The centre is a facility that provides a wide range of Martial Arts, Strength, and Fitness classes, along with Holistic Wellbeing services. It serves as a powerful hub for self-development within the heart of the community. The centre is supported by dedicated instructors such as Michael Green, Amit and Anne Singh, Maridol Torres, Tahnee MacKenzie, Katie Moran, Simon Upton, Greg, and Mel Atzori, Joshua Seedsman, Royce Smith, Tyson Kotevski, and Harmony Irvin.

Integrated Martial Arts Academy regularly organises upcoming events and promotions to engage the community. They also offer self-development programmes tailored to the specific needs of schools, youth groups, and other community organisations. Founder Michael Green, who began his martial arts training at the age of four, has extensive experience in various styles, including Muay Thai, Hwa Rang Do, Zen Do Kai, Kyokushin Karate, Aikido, and Freestyle Martial Arts. Alongside his martial arts journey, Green has worked in youth support and community development.
