JKA Brighton - Martial Art Kids

Martial Art Kids is a school that combines Karate and Aikido as well as yoga for stretching and balance.

We are a registered organisation affiliated with the Japan Karate Association (JKA).

The head instructor is Craig Orde. He holds black belts in both Karate and Aikido. Craig has been an avid Karate practitioner since 1993. He began training in Toronto, Canada until 1997 following Sensei Frank Woon A Tai – 8th Dan, then he moved to Uruguay in 1997 and trained in Montevideo.

In 1999 Craig was working in the USA and trained in Washington DC area and graded for his Shodan by Sensei Okasaka - 10th Dan. Craig moved to Singapore in 2000 and continued training in Karate and also began training in Aikido with Sensei George Chang – 7th Dan. Over the past 4 years Craig has been training in Adelaide, Australia under Shihan Takaatsu Nishimura - 7th dan from Melbourne.
