Welcome to Karate Perth – North Beach Dojo, located in Doubleview, Western Australia. Led by Ben Mettam, a decorated martial artist with over 45 years of experience, our dojo offers high-quality Gōjū-ryū Karate-Do training for individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Here at Karate Perth, we believe that practising karate is not just about physical fitness, but also about personal growth and finding balance in life. Through our classes, you can achieve both physical and mental strength while being part of a supportive and nurturing community.
We are proud members of the Western Australian Karate Federation, Australian Karate Federation, and the International Karate-Do Gōjū-ryū Association. This affiliation ensures that our training methods are in line with the highest standards of karate, and provides our members with opportunities to compete in local and international karate competitions.

Under the guidance of Ben and his team of experienced instructors, you will receive comprehensive training in Gōjū-ryū Karate-Do, developing your physical skills, self-discipline, focus, and confidence.

Our classes are designed to cater to the needs of individuals of all ages. We offer beginner and intermediate kids' classes, as well as adult classes, on Mondays and Wednesdays. The kids' classes are scheduled from 4:30pm to 6pm, while the adult class runs from 6pm to 7pm.
