Macarthur Basketball Association

Macarthur Basketball Association is a renowned sports club located in Sydney, Australia. With a strong focus on promoting basketball at all levels, the club offers a range of programmes and competitions for players of all ages and skill levels.

One of the club's main programmes is Macarthur Aussie Hoops, which aims to introduce children to basketball in a fun and inclusive environment. These sessions take place on Tuesdays from 4. 30pm to 5. 30pm and Thursdays from 5.

The trials are open to juniors (U12, U14, U16, U18) and seniors, and participants are required to sign on during specific timeslots. The cost for juniors is $25 and for seniors is $20.

Additionally, the club organises a School Holiday Junior Camp suitable for ages 5–16 years. This camp offers participants the chance to further enhance their basketball skills in a fun and supportive environment. The next camp is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 9. 00am to 3.

Macarthur Basketball Association also facilitates local competitions for different age groups. The competitions are held at the Minto Indoor Sports Centre, with the U12s competition starting on Monday, December 2, 2019, the Wednesday Senior Comp starting on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, and the Friday Junior Comp beginning on Friday, December 6, 2019. These competitions provide players with regular opportunities to showcase their skills and compete against other teams in a structured league format.
