Welcome to the Macedon Ranges Futsal (MRF) website, a volunteer-run not-for-profit association dedicated to organising and promoting futsal in the Macedon Ranges area of Victoria, Australia. MRF offers a variety of programmes and opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels.
One of MRF's main focuses is providing a fun, safe, and inclusive competition for futsal enthusiasts. Our summer season runs over term 4 and term 1, with games held at various locations including Willowbank Primary in Gisborne, Tony Clarke Reserve Stadium in Macedon, and The Stadium at Gisborne Secondary College. We have different divisions based on the grade of school the players are in, ranging from Junior Primary (year 1 and 2) to Senior Secondary (year 11 and 12), as well as Girls Only and Open divisions.
In addition to the competition, MRF also offers a skill development programme called Skillz. This programme aims to provide young players with opportunities to improve their futsal skills and further develop their passion for the sport. We believe in nurturing talent and offer a pathway to higher level competition through our Bushrangers representative teams for those players who show aptitude and interest.
MRF also values the development of referees and coaches. We provide opportunities for young people to develop their skills in these areas, contributing to the growth and professionalism of futsal in the Macedon Ranges area.
To participate in MRF's programmes and competitions, interested individuals can register as teams or as individual players. Team Managers should register their teams as soon as possible and then pass on the unique team code to their players. Individual players can register once their team manager has provided them with the team code. Registration fees for summer are $130 per player, inclusive of insurance.
