Merton Amateur Turf Club (MATC) with a very proud heritage in that we are one of the oldest continuous racing club's in Victoria – dating back to 1865.
Proud of our annual Merton Cup race meeting – held each year on New Years Day - where you'll discover & delight in what real picnic horse racing is all about.
Staffed and run by a dedicated band of volunteers, where you will be treated to a real country experience where fourth generation locals and visitors come together for a great day out.
