Mount Street Neighbourhood House Inc. is a sports club located in Melbourne, Australia. Originally constructed in the mid-1850s by the Ingram family, Bellfield House was purchased by the Waverley Council in 1979 and established as a Neighbourhood House in 1980.
The main aim of Mount Street Neighbourhood House is to provide a wide range of quality and affordable art, craft, computer, language, cooking, and fitness programmes in a friendly and supportive environment. The House also offers rooms for hire to community groups at reasonable rates.
The mission of Mount Street Neighbourhood House is to be a Community Learning Centre that offers a diverse range of courses, workshops, and activities. The house welcomes everyone to attend their courses and provides a full programme of activities on their website.
In terms of recent news, Mount Street Neighbourhood House offers free tax assistance provided by an ATO certified Tax Help Volunteer. This service is available on Mondays from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm until October 31.
