Established in 2016, Murrumbidgee Council covers an expansive area of 6,680 square kilometres and is proud to serve a vibrant community of over 4,000 residents in Coleambally, Darlington Point, and Jerilderie.
Our area boasts a picturesque countryside with a peaceful country atmosphere, making it an ideal place to live, work, and raise a family. Agriculture plays a crucial role in our local economy, supported by our 100 kilometres of natural river frontage to the Murrumbidgee River and a world-class irrigation network. Our agricultural communities have a rich history and offer a tranquil lifestyle that is deeply connected to our natural surroundings.

We have three office locations in the Murrumbidgee Council area. Our Coleambally office is located at 39 Brolga Place, Coleambally NSW 2707. In Darlington Point, you can find us at 21 Carrington Street, Darlington Point NSW 2706. And in Jerilderie, we are located at 35 Jerilderie Street, Jerilderie NSW 2716.
