About

The 'JETS' RLFC, were renamed the Nowra-Bomaderry Jets RLFC in October 2011.

The Nowra-Bomaderry Jets were formed at the end of 2007 when the senior clubs of the Nowra Warriors and Bomaderry SwampRats merged to become the 'Shoalhaven Jets' to compete in the 2008 competition. The merger came about when both clubs, struggling with performance and sponsorship, decided to join forces for the survival of senior rugby league in the Nowra-Bomaderry area.

In 2011, the Jets could only manage to field a Reserve Grade, U18's and Woman's League Tag (WLT), The belief that the lack of players being unable to identify with the name 'SHOALHAVEN', it was agreed to rename the the club, Nowra-Bomaderry Jets RLFC.

A successful 2012 saw the Nowra-Bomaderry Jets return to 1st Grade, just missing out on the finals playoffs, by one win. The Jets WLT secured the Womans League Tag topship with a thrilling golden point extra time win, reversing the 2011 result.
