Our classes are not one-size-fits-all; instead, we take into account the personality and ability of each individual, offering specially designed programmes that focus on developing physical, mental, and emotional skills. Our goal is to equip our students with the tools necessary for everyday life and promote important fitness and health practises.

At Shogun Martial Arts Centre, we offer a variety of classes to cater to different interests and goals. Our Karate classes are based on Shito-Ryu training methods and teachings, producing highly skilled martial arts individuals across our kids, teens, and adults classes. We also offer Kobudo classes that focus on the ancient Okinawan martial arts weapons, such as the Nanchaku, Tonfa, Bo Staff, Kama, and Sai. For those interested in the art of the samurai, we have Samurai sword classes that centre around training in Japanese sword drawing, cutting, and a combination of attack and defence techniques.

Our founder, Sensei Kong Wing Loh, is an 8th Dan Black belt in Shito-Ryu Karate and a 6th Dan Black belt in Okinawan Kobudo. With over 52 years of teaching experience, Sensei Kong Wing Loh has dedicated his life to passing on his knowledge and passion for martial arts to countless students, young and old. Through his leadership and the commitment of the Shogun team and community, Shogun Martial Arts Centre has become Australia's leading Karate Dojo.

Sensei Kong Wing Loh is widely regarded as one of the finest karate exponents. Born in Singapore, he began his martial arts career studying Shito-Ryu Karate at the age of 16. He has trained traditionally and has achieved numerous accomplishments throughout his career, including winning the inaugural Asia Pacific Karate-do Championship and representing Australia in international competitions. Sensei Kong Wing Loh's expertise and experience make him a valuable instructor and mentor to all who train at Shogun Martial Arts Centre.
