Hello and welcome! We are Shotokan Karate International Australia (SKIA), a not-for-profit martial arts association formed in 1977. We follow the style and philosophy of the legendary martial artist, Master Hirokazu Kanazawa (10th Dan), founder of the SKIF - one of the largest Karate organisations in the world.
Furthermore, we hope you find something of interest in the pages of this website. If you are new to Karate, we hope even more that it may spark an interest in you to come try Shotokan Karate and to take that first step.
