Welcome to St Kilda Pétanque Club! Located in the vibrant city of Melbourne, our club offers a unique and enjoyable sporting experience for individuals of all ages and abilities. Pétanque is a popular French sport that involves rolling biassed balls in order to get them as close as possible to a smaller target ball called a “jack” or “kitty”.
St Kilda Pétanque Club prides itself on being one of the top bowling clubs in Melbourne. Our picturesque surroundings and outstanding facilities create an ideal location to play lawn bowls. Whether you're a seasoned player or have never picked up a ball before, anyone can enjoy and participate in this wonderful sport. It takes only minutes to learn the basics, but the strategies and skills involved will keep you engaged for years to come.
In addition to lawn bowls, St Kilda Pétanque Club offers a range of facilities that make it the perfect venue for hosting various functions and events. Our self-contained function room, renovated bar and kitchen, and beautiful outdoor areas with BBQ facilities allow us to cater for all special occasions. Whether you're hosting a social celebration, corporate gathering, wedding, birthday party, conference, or any other type of event, our experienced staff will ensure that you and your guests have a memorable experience.
Our petanque area is a spacious outdoor space equipped with BBQ facilities, tables, and chairs. It can accommodate up to 50 people, perfect for a social gathering or special event. Marquees can be erected upon request, and umbrellas are available to provide shade during the summer months. This versatile outdoor area can be transformed into a private oasis for any occasion.
At St Kilda Pétanque Club, we also offer a range of additional activities and services. From barefoot bowls to live music events, there's always something exciting happening at our club. We also take pride in our rich history and our integration with other sports such as bowling, cricket, and darts.
