The school provides well-trained and experienced school horses and ponies for lessons, or riders may choose to bring their own horses. The instructors at Sterntaler are highly experienced and encouraging, particularly skilled at teaching beginner and intermediate level riders. They provide comprehensive instruction in all aspects of horse riding, as well as specialised tuition in the Olympic disciplines of Jumping, Eventing, and Dressage. Martina Kovacs, the founder of Sterntaler, is available to teach more advanced and competition riders.

Their horses are bred from influential Australian and International Thoroughbred and Warmblood stallions. The school operates every day during school holidays, offering half-day and full-day sessions, as well as private lessons of various durations. Sterntaler only closes on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day, ensuring riders have ample opportunities for lessons and camps.
