TDRC was founded in 2010 as a spin-off from the Tamborine Pony Club as there was a need for an adult riding club in the District. It has become the club's aim to provide its members with events and education in equitation disciplines of a fairly broad range. We had club activities like Dressage, Jumping, Cross Country, Western Pleasure, Horseback Archery, Working Equitation, Horsemanship Days and some very successful and memorable Mounted Games, Beach rides and Scavenger Hunts.
Our club grounds are at Middle Park, Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road, at Tamborine where we enjoy many of our events. The grounds are well-maintained by the Tamborine Pony Club, and we share the facilities and try to further enhance them to cater for equestrian needs with the support from Scenic Rim Council and other supporters.
