Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Surf Lifesaving GOLD QUALITY CLUB is the northernmost club in the Hunter Branch. Our hard working volunteers patrol the beach between September and the April school holidays.
We are always looking for new active members to join our patrols. You don't have to be a super swimmer, we have specialist First Aid and Life Support roles that are beach based. For the adrenalin junkie there are jet-ski's & Inflatable Rescue Boats known as IRB's or rubber duckies. There are also many opportunities to hone your skills and compete against other clubs, Australia-wide & internationally, in events such as beach flags, sprints, surf swim, board paddling, surf ski, iron man as well as a host of relay events.
For the 5 -14's we run a junior programme known as Nippers. The children learn invaluable beach & surf skills that will assist in helping them move through to our senior ranks and complete their Bronze Medallion Award.
