With an RPL, individuals can fly light General Aviation aeroplanes weighing under 1500 kg and carry up to three passengers. They can also fly into controlled airspace and undertake additional training for flight activity endorsements.
The PPL removes the restrictions of the RPL and allows individuals to fly various types of aircraft worldwide on private operations.
