Town of 1770 Golf Course

The Town of 1770 Golf Course is the only golf course in the Agnes Water/1770 area in Gladstone Regional. Situated on 68 acres of land, this serene golf course offers players a unique and relaxed atmosphere surrounded by natural bushland and wildlife, just a stone's throw away from the magnificent coastline of Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy.

Featuring 9 holes with a par of 34, the course boasts fully irrigated fairways that are planted with 'Legend Couch' grass. The greens are of PGA standard, ensuring an exceptional golfing experience for players of all skill levels. As an affiliated member of Golf Australia, the Town of 1770 Golf Course is committed to maintaining high standards and providing a top-notch golfing facility for its members and visitors.

Open seven days a week, the club also offers licenced premises where players can relax and unwind after a great game. For those who don't have their own equipment, hire clubs, buggies, and carts are available. Light snacks are also provided to keep players fueled throughout their game.

The Town of 1770 Golf Course warmly welcomes large groups and encourages them to come and enjoy the facilities. Additionally, all visitors have the chance to participate in the club's weekly medley golf competitions. On Thursdays, there is an 18-hole competition with a tee-off time of 12:30 pm. On Fridays, players can join in the social 9-hole “Chook Run,” where they can tee off at any time of the day.

Saturdays offer an 18-hole competition with a tee-off time of 8:30 am.
