Wagga Tri Club

Wagga Tri Club is a sports club located in Wagga Wagga, Australia. The club is dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and fun for the whole family. They host various events throughout the year, including the highly anticipated Ladysmith Duathlon.

The Ladysmith Duathlon is a challenging event that attracts serious competitors from across the State. It is known for its strong competition and fierce rivalry among participants. However, the event is not just for seasoned athletes. It offers a distance and a race for everyone, from those with a competitive spirit to those simply looking for a day of fun.

There are several categories for participants of all ages and abilities. The Classic Duathlon consists of a 3 km run, followed by a 30 km bike ride around the Dairy Road loop and back to Ladysmith, and ending with another 3 km run around the recreation oval. The Enticer Duathlon features a 2 km run, a 12 km out and back bike ride along Tumbarumba Road, and a final 2 km run around the Ladysmith Recreation Oval. The Try-A Duathlon is designed for individuals aged 13 to 80 and includes a 2 km run, a 7 km bike ride along Tumbarumba Road, and a 1 km run.

There is also a Junior Try-A Duathlon for participants aged 10 to 12, which includes a 2 km run, a 7 km bike ride, and a 1 km run. Lastly, the Sub-Junior event is for children aged 7 to 9 and involves a 1 km run, a 3 km bike ride, and a final 1 km run.

All events will take place on partially closed roads with traffic controllers at intersections and turnarounds to ensure the safety of participants. Parking will be available on Tumbarumba Road and up Tywong Street, as well as around the Ladysmith Recreation Oval. Teams are also welcome to register on the day of the event.
