Waratah Masters Cycling Club

Waratah Masters Cycling Club is a prominent sports club located in Sydney, Australia. Established in 1994 and built upon a rich history of cycling, the club has emerged as one of the largest cycling clubs in New South Wales. It is known for hosting competitive road, time trial, and track races for its members as well as visiting clubs throughout the year.

Individuals aged 19 and above, regardless of their club affiliation or fitness level, can join the Waratah Masters Cycling Club. The club welcomes both men and women, with women aged 19 and above and men aged 30 and above, who hold a valid race licence from AusCycling, eligible to enter any grade. Men aged 19 and above are limited to participating in grades A and B.

Additionally, a four-week free trial licence is available through AusCycling.

Sunday racing is a regular occurrence at the club, taking place every week at four different venues. The races are divided into five grades, from A to E, ensuring that participants are grouped based on their skill level. Recently, as of July 2023, men aged 19 and above have been given the opportunity to enter grades A and B. Entries are accepted on the day of the race, with the convenience of EFTPOS payment.
