About
Aardwolf Archers is a target archery club in Sheffield, UK. Jamie, the organiser, ensures the club is welcoming to everyone, whether you're just starting out or have been shooting for years. Located behind Handsworth Grange Sports College, the club offers shooting distances up to 100 yards and supports various bow styles, including Olympic recurve, compound, English longbow, and American flatbow.
Jamie has lined up some great events in the club's calendar. There's a Club Shoot Windsor Rounds planned for Sunday, 07 May 2023, and regular sessions on 13 and 14 May 2023. Members are encouraged to submit their scores for classification—it's a good way to track your progress and see where you stand.
If you're new to archery, Jamie has organised beginners courses starting in May 2023. These courses are perfect for getting to grips with the basics of the sport. The club also arranges fun events like clouts and club shoots to bring the community together.
For those who have completed a beginners course, whether at Aardwolf Archers or elsewhere, the club extends a warm welcome. Jamie is keen to support anyone looking to get back into archery, offering help with reassessing skills and gear for a safe return.
Jamie has also sorted out club merchandise, including t-shirts and hoodies available for embroidery at Pinders in Aston. It's a nice way to show your club spirit.
To keep everyone updated, there's a gallery section on the club's website that highlights Aardwolf Archers' participation in national competitions and showcases the achievements of Team Aardwolf.
