About
Aberdeen Lad's Club, located in the Tillydrone area of Aberdeen, is a well-established club that was founded in 1924. The primary aim of the club is to promote the moral, social, and physical well-being of young people, particularly in deprived areas of the city.
The club offers a range of programmes and activities designed to engage and support young people in the community. One of their notable initiatives is an urban aid project, which focuses on addressing specific issues faced by young people in the area. By providing support, guidance, and resources, the club aims to empower these young people and help them overcome challenges.
In addition to the urban aid project, Aberdeen Lad's Club also runs various groups and clubs. These include mother and toddler groups, after-school clubs, and a general programme that offers a variety of activities for young people to participate in. Whether it's sports, arts and crafts, mentoring sessions, or educational workshops, there is something for everyone at the club.
The club is managed by Angie Johnson, who is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for young people. Under her leadership, Aberdeen Lad's Club has become a hub of activity and a trusted resource for the local community.
