Acting Up! Youth Theatre Academy offers a wide range of classes for children and teenagers aged 3 to 19 years. Whether your child is interested in acting, film, dance, drama, or musical theatre, they will find a class that suits their interests and goals. The academy takes pride in providing high-quality training with specialist teachers who are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.

The academy has been a leading drama school on the Sunshine Coast since 2007 and continues to expand its service offerings. They offer classes at various locations throughout Woombye, Montville, Buderim, Bli Bli, and Meridan State College. They also provide homeschooling classes and are excited to announce that a new location in Maleny will be available soon.

Acting Up! Youth Theatre Academy believes in the power of collaboration, creativity, and confidence-building. Students not only learn essential performing arts skills but also develop lifelong friendships and gain the confidence to thrive in our technologically advanced world.

In addition to regular classes, the academy also puts on productions and showcases throughout the year. Students have the opportunity to participate in major productions such as “Peter Pan” and “A Tale of Two Cities” as well as senior and primary acting classes. There are also fun drama games, film projects, music videos, and senior music video clips to get involved in.

Acting Up! Encourages students to join at any time, with pro rata options available for classes left in the term. They offer a welcoming and inclusive environment, and all students are welcome to join. Onsite parking is also available for convenience.
