Opening a martial arts school, I jumped at the opportunity. Although I had no prior experience, I quickly fell in love with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It not only challenged me physically, but also mentally. The technical aspect of the sport fascinated me, and I dedicated myself to learning and improving.
Over the years, I have trained relentlessly and earned my brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I am also a certified instructor at Ako Martial Arts. Teaching others has become a true passion of mine, as I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping students reach their full potential.

We offer a variety of classes for both adults and juniors. Our Guppies programme is perfect for children as young as 2 years old, focusing on fundamental movement skills, confidence building, and resilience. For older kids, our Jellyfish, Piranhas, and Sharks programmes provide age-appropriate training and challenges.
Adults can also join our Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes, where we combine techniques from various disciplines to create a well-rounded and effective martial arts training experience. From striking to grappling, our classes will push you to your limits and help you achieve your fitness goals.
Located in Sandgate, our martial arts academy provides a welcoming and supportive environment for all members. Our facility is equipped with high-grade mats and sanitised equipment to ensure the highest level of hygiene. We also offer easy parking and comfortable waiting areas for parents or guardians.
Head Instructor Robbie Paraha, a 2nd Degree BJJ Black Belt, leads our team of experienced instructors. With his passion for martial arts and extensive background in various disciplines, Robbie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our academy.
