Albert Bishop Park & Criterium Circuit is a popular cycling park located in Nundah, Queensland, managed by AusCycling's Brisbane Office. The park holds the licence and management rights for the Criterium Circuit, which is a relatively flat track with a distance of approximately 1200m. Additionally, there is a shorter loop of around 300m for shorter races or training sessions.
All bookings for the Criterium Circuit must be made through AusCycling in accordance with the licence agreement they hold with the Brisbane City Council. The park only accepts bookings for sanctioned competition events and, in some cases, for exclusive use for training sessions with participation numbers over 50. During booked events, there is no unauthorised access to the circuit, and all participants, spectators, and the public must follow the directions of the venue hirer.
The fees for hiring the venue vary depending on the type of user. Affiliated AusCycling Clubs and Registered Charities are charged $50. 00 for the first hour and $30. 00 for each subsequent hour or part thereof, capped at $160 per booking for more than 5 hours.
All other venue users are charged $60 for the first hour and $35 for each subsequent hour or part thereof, capped at $195 per booking for more than 5 hours.
The park also hosts various events throughout the year, which can be found on the 2022 calendar provided by AusCycling. These events include road cycling, track cycling, BMX racing, BMX freestyle, and para-cycling.
