Our Equine Assisted Learning program is suitable for individuals of all ages and abilities, from children to adults. We offer sessions in blocks of 6 or 12 weeks, focusing on structured activities and games with the horses that promote the development of crucial life skills. Whether you are dealing with behavioural issues, mental health challenges, or simply looking to improve your communication and relationship skills, our program can provide a unique and effective approach.
At Alicorn Farm, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where participants can learn and grow alongside our gentle and understanding horses. Our experienced facilitators, including owner Tina Johnson and assistant equine facilitator Jamie Zavala, are passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential through the power of equine-assisted activities.
In addition to our Equine Assisted Learning program, Alicorn Farm also offers assisted riding programs, trail rides, and class trips. Whether you are an experienced rider or a complete beginner, our knowledgeable trail guides and well-trained horses are ready to take you on an adventure through the beautiful boreal forests of Northern Saskatchewan.
Teachers are welcome to book with us for year-end class outings, where students can enjoy trail rides, interact with our miniature petting farm, and make use of our on-site amenities. We also offer sponsorship opportunities for local youth to attend our summer camp, providing them with valuable experiences and memories that will last a lifetime.
