Welcome to AOGKF Karate-do, a premier Karate school and sports club located in Garran, Canberra, ACT. AOGKF (Australian Okinawan Goju-ryu Karate-Do Federation) is an official Australian branch of IOGKF International, the largest Okinawan Karate organisation in the world. With over 75,000 members in more than 60 countries, AOGKF has become the largest authentic Okinawan Karate organisation in Australia.
Led by Sensei Kevin Nash, a 6th Dan Black Belt who earned his rank in Okinawa, Japan, the birthplace of Karate, our Woden Valley Dojo offers classes for all fitness levels. Sensei Nash, along with his team of talented male and female assistant instructors, has the expertise to accommodate students of any level. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, you will find a welcoming home with us.
At AOGKF Karate-do, we believe in providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. That's why we offer free trials, allowing you to experience our classes before committing. We are confident that you will find a sense of belonging and purpose with us.
Our Dojo timetable consists of classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays for teenagers and adults from 6:30-8:00pm, and on Saturdays for kids from 10:00-11:00am and teenagers and adults from 10:00-11:00am. As part of AOGKF, you will have access to the highest standard of Karate instruction.
