Arise Yoga is a mindful and holistic yoga studio, aerial sports centre, meditation instructor, and pilates studio located in Highfields, Australia. The studio is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through natural processes, with a focus on eating well, moving well, and thinking well. Arise Yoga believes in the importance of finding time to escape the busy day-to-day routines and create a space for mindfulness and self-care.

At Arise Yoga, the emphasis is on coming together on the mat without ego, expectations, or the need to control. The studio believes that the true purpose of practise is not to “look” a certain way, but to “feel” a sense of connexion with the body, mind, and soul. Arise Yoga is passionate about fostering a positive self-image and encourages self-love, gratitude, and acceptance of oneself.

The studio offers a variety of classes including yoga, pilates, and aerial yoga specialist sessions. All classes are designed to be low impact and intimate, with student class numbers kept below studio requirements. The studio provides comfortable heating or cooling depending on the season, but it is not a hot studio.

Arise Yoga is beginner-friendly and welcomes individuals who are new to yoga or aerial yoga. Each class is carefully sequenced to progress participants from simple to more dynamic postures, gradually adding challenges. To encourage newcomers, the studio offers a 10-day trial for unlimited access to the studio timetable at a cost of $25. This trial does not include aerial yoga or workshop sessions.

For those looking to take their practise to the next level, Arise Yoga offers a 14-day trial of their Aerial Yoga Beginners Essentials. These introductory sessions provide participants with all the foundational skills they need to join open and advanced sessions. The classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing individuals four opportunities to hone their skills and receive the necessary support to progress. During the trial period, participants also have unlimited access to regular mat yoga and pilates classes.

To make booking easier, Arise Yoga has developed a convenient app available for both iPhone and Android. The app provides a live timetable and allows users to view, book, and cancel sessions when needed.

Arise Yoga is led by a team of dedicated and experienced teachers. Josie, the owner, specialises in yoga and aerial yoga. Kath is a yoga instructor, and Sheree teaches pilates and barre.
