Armour Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial arts academy located at 5/3 Palina Road, Smithfield SA. Founded and run by BJJ black belt Jesse Hughes, who possesses an impressive 19 years of experience in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Armour is committed to providing exceptional training and fostering a strong sense of community among its members.

Jesse Hughes has honed his skills under the guidance of esteemed instructors Peter Oshea and Leo Arruda. His dedication to the sport is evident through his participation in multiple state and national level tournaments, where he has consistently showcased his expertise and achieved remarkable success.

At Armour, we offer classes six days a week, ensuring that practitioners of all skill levels have ample opportunities to train and improve their techniques. We provide both Gi and Nogi classes for both kids and adults, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded training experience.

Our academy takes great pride in being the number one kids team in South Australia. We have nurtured and developed numerous young talents, instilling in them not only the technical aspects of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but also important values such as discipline, respect, and perseverance.
