Artemis Aquatics Swimming Club, located in South Yarra, is a swim club dedicated to providing an enjoyable, safe, and healthy environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Established in 2017, Artemis Aquatics aims to inspire the community to develop their swimming skills and promote an active lifestyle.

The club offers a comprehensive range of programmes across various aquatic pursuits, including competitive swimming, water polo, royal lifesaving, surf lifesaving, triathlon, swimming for fitness or recreation, and open water swimming. With a focus on skill and athletic development, Artemis Aquatics delivers high-quality coaching and learning experiences to help swimmers achieve their goals.

At Artemis Aquatics, a strong emphasis is placed on creating a supportive and nurturing environment for swimmers to develop their skills and self-confidence in the water. The club offers classes and squad programmes tailored to different ages and abilities, providing a clear and progressive pathway for personal growth and development.

Artemis Aquatics comprises two components: a Swim School and a Swimming Club. The Swim School caters to junior, development, and recreational squads, while the Swimming Club welcomes swimmers at all levels, from beginners to elite athletes competing at State and National levels.

As a registered swim school with Swim Australia, Artemis Aquatics adheres to the national authority's standards on teaching swimming and water safety. The club also provides opportunities for swimmers registered with Swimming Victoria to compete in sanctioned Swimming Victoria competitions. Each swimmer is required to pay a 12-month registration fee of $120 to participate in these events.

The Learn to Swim programme at Artemis Aquatics aims to inspire children to love the water and become strong and capable swimmers. The club believes that aquatic safety and learning to swim are vital life skills for all Australians, and they strive to instil a lifelong affinity with the water in all their swimmers.

The club is housed in the Artemis Centre, a world-class facility for sport, exercise, and wellbeing located at Melbourne Girls Grammar School in the heart of South Yarra. The centre, named after the mythical goddess Artemis, symbolising strength and good health, provides state-of-the-art facilities for training and development.

Artemis Aquatics also offers other programmes, such as Artemis Gymnastics and holiday clinics and immersion programmes, which aim to provide holistic experiences in sport and athletic development, wellbeing, and learning.
