Located in Camp Hill, the Australian School of Taekwon-Do (ASTKD) is the leadinge martial arts school in the area. Under the leadership of Tom Foggo, the Chief Instructor and Founder, ASTKD is dedicated to teaching traditional Taekwon-Do values and techniques to students of all ages.

The club's mission is to create future leaders, and they achieve this by providing internationally-recognised Taekwon-Do classes that focus on integrity, leadership, professionalism, and discipline. With a strong emphasis on community, ASTKD offers age-specific classes for children as young as 3. 5 years old, all the way up to adults.

At ASTKD, students will train in a supportive and safe environment where they will learn the self-defence, competition, and art aspects of Taekwondo. The instructors are passionate and dedicated to teaching students not only the physical aspects of the martial art but also the values of kindness, physical fitness, and confidence.

ASTKD offers a range of programmes designed to cater to different age groups and skill levels. The Juniors Programme, for ages 5 and up, teaches fundamental skills such as self-defence, respect, discipline, perseverance, and leadership. The Seniors Programme, for ages 9 and up, focuses on forming lifelong relationships, physical fitness, mental robustness, self-defence training, and having fun.

The club has multiple locations in the Brisbane region, including Birkdale, Camp Hill, Cannon Hill, Gumdale, and Wellington Point, making it convenient for students to find a class near their home. All locations provide the same high-quality instruction and welcoming community atmosphere.

Classes at ASTKD are based on three core aspects of Taekwon-Do: self-defence, competition, and preservation of the art. The goal is to teach students not only how to defend themselves but also to instil discipline, respect, and confidence in their everyday lives.
