Balletiques

Balletiques is a popular physical fitness program in Calgary that offers ballet-inspired workouts for individuals of all fitness levels. Unfortunately, all classes are currently cancelled until further notice due to the owner's health issues. However, memberships are still available for a discounted price of $25 CAD per month, which includes access to over 500 recorded classes from April 2020.

The Balletiques Fitness classes include Barre Fitness, which consists of 25-30 minute barre exercises that combine ballet with fitness for a total body workout. Additionally, there are Balletiques Fitness classes that focus on centre exercises of ballet basics combined with conditioning movements using body weight and dumbbells to help build and define the body. Full 55-60 minute classes are also available for a more comprehensive workout.

For those over the age of 55, Balletiques offers Silver Swans Ballet Classes, which are low-impact, gentle traditional ballet classes set to classical music from TV and film. These classes are designed to keep participants fit and active while having fun in an age-appropriate setting.

Other classes offered by Balletiques include Ballet Barre Classes, Ballet Blast Classes, and Ballet HIIT classes, all designed to provide a high-energy workout that targets different areas of the body. New members can take advantage of a special offer of $1 for the first month of membership, which provides access to the entire back catalogue of recorded classes.

Balletiques has been featured by the Royal Academy of Dance in their "Silver Swans ballet at home" series, showcasing the quality and effectiveness of the program.
