Balto Kayak Club, based in Baltinglass, West Wicklow, offers instruction, coaching and development for kayaking, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding. The club provides the equipment needed for sessions and runs training with fully qualified, insured, Garda vetted instructors, including remote first aid training. Paddlers can try whitewater and calmer lake and river routes, plus pool sessions and coaching support aimed at different experience levels. It is also a social way to meet people outdoors.
